In excellent condition since a complete rebuild over many years, this four and a half litre drives beautifully and is being pressed into service as a regular driver here at NDR.
There is a splendidly detailed file of all work carried out. and it would be impossible to build a Bentley to this standard today at this price. This is absolutely up with the best to drive.
The work carried out with meticulous engineering detail by the owner, who has owned and driven vintage Bentleys for over 70 years and is well known for his encyclopaedic knowledge.
The paintwork and trim are in excellent order and the original engine has been rebuilt with a Laystall crank and shell bearing rods. so it is no surprise that on the road she is everything one could hope for.
On the road this very well sorted vintage Bentley is smooth and powerful with very sharp handling and a delightful D type gearbox.
Press the starter button and she is ready to go and is easily capable of undertaking any long journey or event, or for the more adventurous would be a sound contender for one of the more arduous motoring events where Bentleys excel.
