With its brutish and rugged good looks, the Blower Bentley, the supercar of its day, was charismatic in its stance, controversial in its concept and outrageous in its performance.
If imitation is said to be the sincerest form of flattery, the fact that twelve continuation models have recently been produced confirms the reverential motoring status of the original supercharged Bentley.

To find a vintage Bentley retaining its matching numbered components is quite an achievement. For a period approaching fifty years the parts were not manufactured so the only source of parts was other vintage Bentleys. Of the 3024 cars produced by the Cricklewood works around 1500 survive. Those 1500 were largely kept going by the ones that didn't survive.

The fact that this matching numbered vintage Bentley is one of the fifty production Blowers is something very special.

Raced and rallied in period and subsequently used for the delivery of wartime despatches in South Africa and in single ownership for forty years this Blower Bentley retains its original chassis, engine, matching supercharger, gearbox, axles, steering box, differential and even carburettors.

With a scholastically documented history from new this Blower Bentley has never been lost, destroyed or dismantled despite having been an active campaigner, including in more recent times the Mille Miglia.

A magnificent Blower Bentley with unequalled provenance, from long term ownership.
