As you can see not all vintage Bentleys are green and wherever one goes in this one the colour is always favourably remarked upon.
Originally a saloon by Canterbury firm Martin Walter, the body was in very shabby condition by the 1960s when this high quality VDP style touring body was fitted.
This old Bentley drives extremely well and doesn't disgrace itself either on the motorways or in city traffic.
The current owner has enjoyed this Bentley for 27 years and covered 50, 000 or so miles with her.
Not a matching numbered example, she has the heavy crank engine, as fitted to the Blowers, and a continuous history. Whilst most cars were laid up during the war due to petrol rationing GT 1048 was seconded by the Secretary of State, for Government use.
